Square Enix NieR: Automata DLC To Be Released Next Week

Latest updates reveal that NieR: Automata DLC will be released next week. Fans were previously expecting the DLC to be released for only Japanese players, as the developer did not specify when it will be available for players in other regions. However, new updates suggest that the NieR: Automata DLC will also be available for players in other regions.

Last week, several updates gave players insight into what to expect from the upcoming NieR: Automata DLC and now it has been announced via Twitter, that the new DLC will be released next week, May 2. Square Enix North America also released a gameplay for the colosseum DLC, which also showcased a bit of what has been packed for players in the upcoming game. It is reported by Destructoid that Square Enix stated that the new DLC known as "3C3C1D119440927" - three costumes, three colosseums, one dream, and a year/date - will also receive a Western release on the same date.

The report also states that players will be standing up against CEOs from Square and Platinum Games. According to Game Informer, players will also be taking on brand new missions, three new colosseums and players will also be given access to new costumes that will allow them to dress like the original game's leads, from Kaine to Nier.

The new NieR: Automata DLC, which is also known as "Colosseum DLC" not only introduces new costumes as recent updates have also noted that the new DLC also introduces new hair colors. According to reports, the list of new costumes includes the already rumored Revealing Outfit for 2B, a Destroyer Outfit for A2, a Young Man's outfit for 9S.

Apart from the already mentioned new costumes and other cosmetic rewards, it is reported that the NieR: Automata DLC will also include battle colosseums and real-world CEO boss fights - "Immersion schmimmersion!" However, Nier: Automata's 3C3C1D119440927 DLC will be released in Japan and other regions on May 2, 2017.
