Latest updates have revealed that B&H Photo Video has slashed the price of the 13.3-inch 2016 MacBook Pro down to $1,299 through March 31 at 7 p.m. (ET). According to reports, the price cut is $200 off the best price that the device is being sold on Apple Store.
However, it is reported by Laptopmag that the model being offered by B&H Photo Video does not include the developer's new Touch Bar. But the report stated that interested buyers will discover that there is so much to like about B&H Photo Video 13.3-inch MacBook Pro.
The 13.3-inch MacBook Pro is said to be 67 percent brighter, smaller, and faster than its predecessor and also features a new touchpad that is 46 percent larger than that of the previous laptop. It is also reported that the device is faster and more powerful compared to its predecessors, but thinner at 0.59 inches and lighter (3 lb).
The 13.3-inch MacBook Pro is powered by a 2.0 GHz Intel Core i5 Dual-Core processor with a burst speed of almost 3.1 GHz, and 8GB of 1866 MHz LPDDR3 RAM that ensures smooth multitasking. It also aids the system to easily access recently-used files and programs.The 13.3-inch MacBook Pro IPS Retina display sports a WQXGA 2560 x 1600 screen resolution coupled with a 227 PPI pixel density and LED backlighting.
Integrated Intel Iris Graphics 540 provides a sharp, clear picture, and it allows users to output video to an external display using Thunderbolt 3 ports that have native Display Port output. According to reports, one Thunderbolt 3 port supports one multi-panel 5K display at almost 5120 x 2880 for 60 Hz resolutions, or dual 4K displays at almost 4096 x 2304 for 60 Hz resolutions both of which are able to support over one billion colors.
The 13.3-inch MacBook Pro also features a 61W USB Type-C adapter, which operates by utilizing 100-240 VAC at 50-60 Hz, a built-in 54.5Wh lithium-ion polymer battery and a 6.6-inch USB Type-C charging cable. B&H Photo Video will not charge sales tax on devices that will be shipped outside NY and NJ, according to Apple Insider, this has made the deals $320 to $510 cheaper for many shoppers when compared to paying full price with tax at the Apple Store.
One of the shortcomings of the new model of 13.3-inch MacBook Pro is that it is based on Intel's older Skylake CPU, while many of its competitors are currently running Kaby Lake CPUs. The report went on to state that Apple has abandoned the system's numerous useful ports and opted for just two Thunderbolt 3 ports on the new machine.
The installed operating system for 13.3-inch MacBook Pro is MacOS Sierra. Meanwhile, B&H Photo Video is also offering the 13.3-inch 2016 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and an upgraded 512GB SSD for just $1,799, which is also $200 price cut compared to Apple Store's price.
