Acer recently came out with a new batch of products on its end with the Ace Aspire U27 AIO PC and the Acer Switch 5, both equipped with LiquidLoop technology. The latter is the first 2-in-1 device to offer the said technology, something meant to substitute the traditional noisy cooling fan.
The Acer Switch 5 is powered by an Intel Core i7 SoC and runs on Windows 10. Being a flexible tablet, it makes life easier for users with an included Acer Active Stylus pen that helps aid users in taking down notes or drawing. But the striking feature it has to offer is the auto-retractable kickstand which allows users to adjust and use it as they please single-handedly, Engadget reported.
Thus, folks can easily adjust the Acer Switch 5 to any position they please with a single push. It calls to mind the control and flexibility that Microsoft has on its end with the Surface Studio hinge, something that has become a hit with the consumers. Acer simplifies things a bit with its version, ably complementing the super-thin mold that also makes it easy and handy to carry anywhere.
Aside from those, there are other worthy features the Acer Switch 5 has to offer. This includes a keyboard which can be connected via magnets, again calling to mind the Microsoft Surface Studio.
The Acer Switch 5 also totes a 12-inch display with FHD+ resolution, a battery that can reportedly last up to 10.5 hours and modern biometric security in the form of a fingerprint reader, Slash Gear notes. It is expected to come out in North America in June with a suggested retail price of $799.
