Apple recently announced a new color variant to the existing smartphone flagships from the Cupertino firm. With the new red color choice now available to their customers, the manufacturer has received a lot of flak for not offering the same device with a black front panel. Apart from the color choice, there's absolutely no differences in its hardware department and the Red iPhone 7 and 7 Plus both are offered at the same price as earlier.

Apple for a long time has been working together with (RED), an organization that helps in spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS to people in Africa. Apple, however, seems to be the world's largest corporate donor to its global fund that was revealed by (RED)'s CEO Deborah Dugan.

(RED) iPhone 7 and 7 Plus come with a nice red back panel with a white front panel in a unique combination that people have liked so far. In their press release, Apple mentioned that part of the selling price would be donated towards the aforementioned cause for which they've been partnered for more than 10 years.

Meanwhile, a report from Forbes felt that the lack of a 64GB variant might be a bit on the downside but with the new products, Apple was doing a fantastic job with handing over a portion of profits from each unit sold, towards the Product (RED) cause. (RED) primary work involves in providing health care access especially HIV/AIDS programs to the sub-Saharan African population who constitute 2/3rds of the world's HIV-positive population.

Apple also specified that it would be using 100% of funds generated from the sales of the aforementioned iPhones would help in providing testing equipment, counseling and treatment for the same thereby spreading an awareness as well as eliminating the transmission of the virus from a mother to a child.
