Microsoft Xbox One: Recon Tech Controller Inspired by Military Gadgets

Microsoft announced the first controller in its Wireless controller "Tech Series". The Shipping of this innovative accessory will begin on April 25 worldwide. The Recon Tech special edition will be available for $70 which is also the standard price for this special controller.

For this new controller series, the designers of Microsoft are inspired by military tech and sci-fi gear. While the other controllers in the series have yet to be announced, the Recon Tech controller will be available for the consumers. The controller has high-end features and specs.

The Recon Tech controller in equipped with a laser etched gray front with gold accents and insignia. The textured diamond rubberized grips are on the back which makes it comfortable for long hours of gaming. The features are too inspired from military gadgets. It can be expected that Microsoft continues to roll out the "Tech Series ahead of its scheduled Project Scorpio launch during the holiday season.

Similar to Xbox's wireless controllers, the new Xbox One Recon Tech controller will include improved wireless range and Bluetooth for Windows 10 and Samsung VR gaming. Besides, custom button mapping is also available through the Xbox accessories app.

The Microsoft Xbox One Recon Tech controller will be compatible with the upcoming Copilot feature on other flagship devices. This will enable players to use two Xbox wireless controllers as one. This is quite an innovative feature for those players who are intended to play long hours of gaming with ease.

Furthermore, those Xbox One owners who do not want to shell out for the fancy new controller can get the Copilot feature through creators updated later this year. Microsoft offers its own accessories for Xbox One. The list of accessories includes customized controllers, Xbox Elite controller, a game page with interchangeable parts and now the Recon Tech special edition controllers.
