In BlizzCon 2016, Blizzard Entertainment, besides introducing a new playable character in “Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls” also revealed the Necromancer who has blood-themed abilities and a new female character model. Updates from the game developer state that the Necromancer and the new female model would debut in “Diablo 3” Season 10 which launches on March 31. As an epitome of death, the Necromancer uses the remains of fallen foes to draw a magic resource, Essence, and fuel its dark magic.
Essence’s Abilities
Other abilities of Necromancer’s Essence is it replenish health, summon Golems who does what she orders and cause greater damage on those who would oppose her in “Diablo 3” Season 10, Toms Hardware reports. The inspiration behind Necromancer is a “Diablo 2” hero and the Priests of Rathma who preserve the balance of life and death by combining bone and blood-themed abilities. Other demons that Blizzard would let loose on March 31 are Grim Scythe, Blood Nova, Blood Rush, Devour, Leech and Blood Golem.
According to Blizzard, the Necromancer was sent in “Diablo 3” Season 10 to join the battle to protect Sanctuary from the Burning Hells. Sanctuary’s balance is under threat and the Priests of Rathma sent an acolyte to help restore the balance. The game developer also shares more details about the weapons and abilities of the demons let loose.
Patch 2.5.0
Diablofans.com adds that Patch 2.5.0, which is just right around the corner, has new features such as The Armory, Primal Ancients and other quality-of-life updates that players of the upcoming “Diablo 3” Season 10 would need. With The Armory, gamers could store up to five complete character builds on every character. It allows them to swap seamlessly between set items, runes, skills and gems with one click of a button. But the Armory disallows storing of Paragon points which must be redistributed by the players if they have a preference with their build.
