ZTE might be working on a new smartphone and is expected to launch soon. The ZTE A2018 device, which was earlier spotted on the Chinese regulatory authority -TENAA, has been listed on the GFXBench website running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. It also hints other specifications and features similar to that listed earlier.
According to the GFXBench listing, the ZTE A2018 is seen holding a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 2,560 pixels by 1,440 pixels supporting at least five finger gestures. Under the hood, the listing reveals that the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC quad-core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Adreno 530 GPU.
The ZTE A2018 is listed with 128GB onboard storage, which could also come with a dedicated microSD card slot for further storage expansion. The rear camera is listed to have an 11MP sensor supporting 4K videos and comes with features like autofocus, face detection flash, touch focus and HDR photo. On the front side, it features a 7MP camera and comes with connectivity options like 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and accelerometer.
The ZTE A2018 smartphone listed on the GFXBench is assumed to be the successor of ZTE Axon 7 smartphone which was launched back in 2016. It was one of the best budget friendly phones with great specs sheet. The device is considered either to be the ZTE Axon 7s or the Axon 8 smartphone.
According to GSMArena, the so-called Axon 7s listed on TENAA reveals exterior features in the images and other specifications. As per the leaked images, the ZTE smartphone can be seen with a massive display with nearly zero bezels on the sides. The back face carries a protruded dual camera set up with LED flash, and a fingerprint sensor placed exactly below the camera.
The TENAA listing reveals that the ZTE smartphone could arrive with OLED screen of QHD resolution, the stereo speakers, 64GB/128GB/256GB storage options and 3,320mAh battery. It could arrive with the slimmer profile when compared to its predecessor.
