Sony Xperia XZ Premium has been launched in India. Xperia XZ Premium is the first device to release with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform. It is priced at INR 59,990 and will be exclusively available on Amazon India online.
Pre-bookings for the Sony Xperia XZ Premium begin June 2 and go on until June 11. Users who pre-book will get a Sony SRS-XB20 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker worth INR 8,990 for free.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium boasts a 5.5-inch 4K HDR TRILUMINOS display) with a resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels. The display screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Device sports glass loop surface design, with the reflective surface on the back. The power button on the right doubles up as a fingerprint scanner.
Newly Sony Xperia XZ Premium is coming with the IP65/68 rating that makes the device water-resistant and dust-proof. Xperia XZ Premium is equipped by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat.
First unveiled at MWC 2017, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium sports a 19-megapixel Motion Eye camera with a 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS memory stacked sensor that's capable of shooting videos at 960 frames per second. The device also offers predictive hybrid autofocus and predictive capture features. Other highlights have a 25mm f/2.0 lens, and 1.22-micron pixel sensor, as reported by NDTV.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium is powered by a 3230mAh non-removable battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The device measures 156x77x7.9mm and weigh 191 grams.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has been launched in India at a price of INR 59,990 and can be pre-booked at all Sony Center, select retail outlets and online exclusively on Amazon India from June 2 to June 11. The Xperia XZ Premium will be available for purchase starting June 12 in the colors: Luminous Chrome and Deep Sea Black.
