Panasonic will unveil its new Eluga I3 Mega smartphone. This handheld flagship will be exclusively available in India via Panasonic authorized retailer with price starts at $178.
As noted by GSM Arena, Panasonic Eluga I3 Mega features a 4000mAh battery which is a highlight of the smartphone. The Panasonic Company is touting all-metal body of the Eluga I3 Mega on their official site.
Panasonic Eluga I3 Mega also offers a 5.5-inch HD 720 x 1280 pixels IPS display and sports a 2.5D curved glass display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6735 processor supported with 3GB of RAM. It is equipped with a 16GB onboard storage and supports expandable storage using microSD card.
Several sources noted that an Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Panasonic Eluga I3 Mega sports a 13MP rear camera and also packs a 5MP frontal camera for selfie purposes. This device will be going on sale in two different color variants; Champagne Gold and Silver colors.
According to Phone Radar, the Panasonic Eluga I3 Mega measures 154.6 x 77 x 9.4mm and weighs at 180 grams. For connectivity, this device was equipped with 4G VoLTE apart from other standard connectivity options. The Eluga I3 Mega supports the LTE bands in India, FDD 1800MHz (Band 3) and TDD 2300MHz (Band 40); as well as FDD 850MHz (Band 5). The phone also supports a dual-SIMs (Micro+ Nano).
The full-metal body Eluga I3 Mega is designed to stand out in the crowd and is targeted towards the youth who like to keep it stylish. The powerful smartphone with 4000mAh battery and 5.5-inch display screen will solve the undying issue of college students and professionals who are always on the go.
Just this month, Panasonic India launched the Eluga Ray and P85 where both devices were launched exclusively on Flipkart. The Panasonic Eluga I3 Mega is an upgraded version of the Eluga I3 which was launched at $144.
