Huawei Nova 2 Series Powered With The Latest Qualcomm Chip; Phones Will Be Available In Three Different Color Variants

There has been a promotional poster for the Huawei Nova 2 series that has been leaked online, which shows that the device colors of the new phone. The Huawei Nova 2 series will be comprised of two handsets that will differ primarily in terms of display size; the Huawei Nova 2 and the Huawei Nova 2 Plus.

According to MySmartPrice Gear, both Huawei Nova 2 and Huawei Nova 2 Plus will be available in pink, green, and blue variants. It was also reported that these devices will have black bezels surrounding the display. This recent leak of the promotional poster for the Huawei Nova 2 series further substantiates the reports regarding the presence of a larger device in the lineup.

However, there's still no official announcement regarding the feature set and availability of the device. Based on the leaked photos, the Huawei Nova 2 and Huawei Nova 2 Plus have similar designs, but different in display size.

The Huawei Nova 2 as the smaller variant will have a 5.1-inch display, while its larger clone, the Huawei Nova 2 Plu9s will have a 5.5-inch display. However, the internal specification has been scarce; both devices will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 660 which is a newly released mobile platform from Qualcomm that is powered by an octa-core Kyro 260 CPU.

Both Huawei Nova 2 and the Huawei Nova 2 Plus will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 that will be fabricated on a 14nm process, where it is safe to expect respectable battery life due to the smaller and more energy-efficient process; compared to its predecessor the Snapdragon 653. Aside from the chipset, the battery capacity of these phones will be more than 3000mAh, as noted by WhaTech.

For its external specs, Both Huawei Nova 2 and the Huawei Nova 2 Plus will have a fingerprint scanner on the back. These phones will also have a dual-camera setup and a LED flash on the back, similar to what we saw from Huawei's high-end devices. Both phones will also likely to run Android Nougat with the usual Huawei overlay of the Emotion UI.
