However, voice changer applications that change the voice during an ongoing call are not only hard to find, they also don't work as expected. After intense searching on Google Play Store and Apple's app store, here's a list that contains the five best voice changer apps for an android or an iOS device.
The first one in the list is Call Voice Changer. This app allows the user to try out 2-minutes of a free demo, during which the user can listen to what they would sound during a call. Although advertised as free, this app charges according to minutes purchased. The prices can go from $1 for 3-minutes to $40 for 170-minutes. This is one of the best voice changer apps and is available for both Android and iOS.
On iOS, the app is called Funny Call, and on Android, it is called Minion Prank Call. What this app allows the user to do is record their own voice and apply effects on it. Half of the effects need to be bought and this app has the worst kind of ads that take up the entire screen. The first 30 seconds are free and then the app charges $1 for 3 minutes to $20 for 160 minutes.
For changing voice during calls, FunCall is the app worth looking at. This is one of the best voice changer apps as the app comes with a very easy to use interface and has a demo call mode. The app does not provide many effects other than Man, Woman, Scary, Helium, and Regular. The app also uses the Wi-Fi to make calls.
Voice Changer Calling is yet another simple to use app that uses the Wi-Fi to make calls. It has five basic effects including Deep, Scary, Normal, Funny and Chipmunk. For extra minutes the user can buy credits through the app at the prices of $5, $10, $20.

The app does not come as a free demo, however, the user can record their voice to test out the effects. The app has three modes for voice: Lower, Normal, and Higher. With only 1-minute free, the user can buy more minutes at a price of $1 for 4 minutes or $23 for 120 minutes.
