ZTE, one of the best smartphone manufacturers in the world launched its new smartphone from its international Blade series in the United States. The Blade X Max featuring the latest OS version from Google, the Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and 6-inch display is available at a price tag of $150 at Cricket Wireless for existing subscribers.
According to the Digital Trends, the ZTE Blade X Max is available at $150 for the existing Cricket Wireless subscriber. It is reported that the Blade series enthusiasts from other carriers willing to switch to Cricket Wireless and can grab the phone for a mere $100. It is reported to be the same promotional price point for other ZTE budget devices, such as the ZTE Max XL on Boost Mobile and the ZTE ZMax Pro on MetroPCS.
According to Gadgets 360, the ZTE Blade X Max is not a high specs smartphone, but it has amazing specs at a particular price segment. Lixin Cheng, executive vice president, ZTE Corporation, CEO of ZTE Mobile Devices and Chairman of ZTE USA said that the Blade series has been very successful overseas for the past eight years and the company is excited to bring it to Cricket Wireless customers in the US through the ZTE Blade X Max. Cheng also added that the ZTE Blade X Max pushes the envelope in terms of price and features without ever sacrificing quality.
The specifications and features of the ZTE Blade X Max are similar to the recently announced ZTE Max XL smartphone. The device sports a large 6-inch full-HD LCD display with 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels resolution.
Under the hood, the ZTE Blade X Max is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. The device features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera.
ZTE offers various connectivity options such as the 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm, USB Type-C and headphone jack. The device measures 165.1mm in height, 83.06mm in width, 9.4mm in thickness and weighs 196 grams. The smartphone is equipped with a 3,400mAh battery with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 technology and a fingerprint scanner on the rear face.
