The latest flagship smartphone from Vivo has been spotted at the Chinese certification company TENAA. The TENAA listing gives the experts an overview of the Vivo X9s Plus. The listing gives away a lot of information about its specifications and features as well as designs. The device is expected to run on the latest android operating system, Android Nougat 7.1.1. Vivo X9s Plus will also have other basic features such as VoLTE support; also there will be TD-LTE and FD-LTE support on a number of different bands. The other connectivity options will be USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi.
According to Gizbot, the Vivo X9s Plus will boast a 5.85-inch full HD OLED display; resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The images clearly show there is a physical home button at the front of the body which could also work as the Touch ID button.
Vivo X9s Plus will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 653 or the latest Snapdragon 660 processor. The listing indicates the processor will have a clock speed of 1.95GHz. The device will have a memory of 4 GB with an internal space of 64 GB. There is still no specific news on whether the device will have any expanded storage support.
According to GSM Arena, Vivo X9s Plus will be a selfies specialist smartphone just like its predecessors. There is a dual front camera setup which will have 20MP and 8MP camera lenses. The primary camera at the back will have a 16MP sensor with LED flash. The dimension of Vivo X9s Plus, as listed on TENAA will be 162.59×78.84×7.25 mm with a body weight of 183.2 gm.
The device will run on a Non-removable Li-Ion 3920 mAh battery with a quick charge facility. Going by the leaked images there will be two possible colors to choose from, Gold and Rose Gold. Vivo X9s Plus is expected to be a mid-range smartphone, and like all Vivo smartphones recently this model too will focus mainly on the selfie camera feature. But the buyers must not think of it as just a selfies expert smartphone, there is plenty more under the hood which will definitely make it more than a selfie-clicking device.
