Radeon Rx Vega Update: 3D Mark Fire Strike & 1.2GHz Core Clock Featured AMD’s Graphics Card Will Be Released In Limited Quantity

AMD or Advanced Micro Devices, the multinational semiconductor company is on its way to release the AMD Radeon Rx Vega graphics card in an early prototypic form, later this month. The prototype of the Radeon Rx Vega card possesses 3D Mark Fire Strike and 1.2GHz core clock facility. It's also come to know that Vega is getting ready to release next-gen 64 compute units with 64GCN stream processors anytime soon.

According to Hot Hardware, the prototype AMD Radeon Rx Vega is an early phase of the Vega 10 prototype. In the beginning of the year, AMD brought the same prototype of Radeon Rx Vega at the Consumer Electronic Show or the Demo show. Reports state that a device id, listed as 687F:C1 has pointed out that the prototype Radeon Rx Vega runs at 4k ultra settings, rips over 60fps-70fps. No news of slowing down or stuttering during the show have been informed though.

3D Mark Listing has recently informed that the prototype Radeon Rx Vega supports 8GB onboard memory (HBM2), runs at 700MHz with 1.2GHz core clock facility. Further, it's comprised that the combination of Radeon Rx Vega's plug-in facility with ASUS PRIME X370-Pro motherboard and Ryzen 7 1800x Processor gives an unexpected Fire-stroke score 14,412 and Graphics-score 17,801. 3D Mark listed that the result is 84 percent better than expected. It is 1400 points higher than Radeon R9 Fury X and also comparable to NVIDIA's GeForce Titan X as well.

According to Tweak Town, it is circulated that a very limited amount of Radeon Rx Vega, less than 16,000 units will be available in the first month during the launch. Maybe because of using expensive and limited quantity of HBM2 on the card, only 16,000 Radeon Rx Vega will be shipped. It's also said that due to the scarcity of popular Radeon Rx Vega card, the production costs will also increase.

Millions of Radeon's fans are eagerly waiting for the launch of next-gen Radeon Rx Vega graphics card which costs approximately $200-$1200. As the amount will be limited, fans have to wait for a couple of months to get it. Hopefully, the Radeon Rx Vega will launch around this year's Computex in Taipei, May 30- June 3 or during E3, June 13-15.
