ZTE smartphone carrying a model number Z851 hits Wi-Fi Alliance website. The smartphone has already obtained the Wi-Fi Alliance certification. There is no much information related to its specifications and features on the listing.
According to GSMArena, the ZTE smartphone bearing a model number Z851 listed on the Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA) does not reveal anything except the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system running on the device. The device is seen carrying a hardware version: Z835HW1.0 and firmware version: Z835V1.0.0B01.The ZTE device has attained the certification on May 8, 2017.
According to The Android Soul, the ZTE smartphone on the Wi-Fi Alliance listing is assumed as the successor of ZTE Grand X2. The ZTE Grand X2 carried a similar model number (ZTE Z850). However, it is reported that there is already a smartphone with the moniker ZTE Grand X3 listed on Cricket.
There is another smartphone from the ZTE, which was seen surfacing on the internet recently. The Nubia Z17 was accidentally published on an official listing of the company's website. However, the listing was removed soon, but a Weibo user managed to get a screenshot of the listing that exhibited a lot about the device.
The Nubia Z17 smartphone is expected to arrive in two variants such as the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant, and an 8GB of RAM and 128GB variant. The listing reveals the front design of the phone, where it can be seen that the phone is featuring a near bezel-less curved display. The back face shows the dual-camera setup in vertical orientation placed exactly above the fingerprint scanner.
The Nubia Z17 smartphone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 1.90GHz. Speculations are also made that the smartphone will feature a 5.5-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels with a 2.5D curved glass on top of it and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Also, it could feature a 23-megapixel sensor and 12-megapixel sensor in the dual camera setup on the rear. Stay tuned for more updates.
