Huawei Nova 2 & Nova 2 Plus Hits TENAA With Dual Camera

Huawei  might be planning to unveil new smartphones as the successors of Nova and Nova Plus. The smartphones from Huawei that popped up on TENAA, which is the Chinese certification platform equivalent to FCC, are considered to be the Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus smartphones.

According to the TENAA listing spotted by GizmoChina, the Huawei smartphones seen are assumed to be the Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus. The first versions of this great mid-range smartphones were not only launched in China but were also available in the European tech market.

The images of the Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus reveal many details with respect to the external design. It can be seen that the both the smartphones come with the dual camera setup at the rear. The smartphone can be seen with a unibody design and metal back.

The Huawei  Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus smartphones are seen housing a fingerprint scanner placed exactly at the back immediately below the rear camera. The clear difference between the Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus smartphone can be found with display sizes. The name itself indicates that the Nova 2 Plus will feature a bigger screen when compared to the Nova 2 smartphone.

The front face of the smartphone carries an earpiece and a front camera, while the right edge of the phone holds a volume rocker and power/sleep button. The left edge houses a microSD card and SIM card tray. The Huawei's logo is placed on the lower end of the screen.

Although the TENAA listing does not reveal any specifications and features that the Huawei  Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus will carry. The Android Headlines report gives some hints on the specifications that might be available in the upcoming Huawei  Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus smartphones.

The Huawei Nova 2 is expected to feature a 5-inch or a 5.1-inch fullHD display and the Nova Plus 2 to sport a 5.5-inch display. It is also speculated that both the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon SoC or the  Snapdragon 652 64-bit octa-core SoC here, or something similar to that.

The Huawei  Nova and Nova Plus were introduced into the tech market last September and there are expectations that the successors will arrive soon, as the devices have already been certified by the Chinese certification authority.
