‘Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered’ Expected To Come In A Standalone Release

As of now, the only way to get the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remaster," now known as the "Modern Warfare Remastered," is to pick up premium versions of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," but not anymore soon. Removed product pages on GameFly were seen by CharlieIntel commented that Activision might be planning to offer Modern Warfare Remastered on its own.

According to Gaming Target, a certain page for PS4 edition apparently showed a launch date scheduled on June 30 and an Xbox One version stated to come in a month after, that will be this coming July 30. If ever "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" is indeed seeing a standalone release, these different launch dates could be the result of Activision's exclusivity deal with Sony. All "Call of Duty" DLC now launches first on PS4 before coming to other platforms later.

New installments in the mainline series have been released simultaneously. With this, it would be a change of form in any way. Players must note that none of this was confirmed officially at this stage. For the fact that Activision has new stated that they won't offer "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" eventually, but also never released a statement that they would. Reports and other sources are now contacting Activision in an attempt to get more details on their plans.

As noted by Destructoid, the GameFly product pages for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" didn't mention any price. It seems unlikely that it would be a full price game, in which players must expect something in a price range from $20-$40 seeming more likely. If ever "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" is indeed getting a standalone release, buyers must also expect that it would come to PCs.

If ever "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" features the entire campaign from the original 2007 storyline, which is updated with new graphics along with a similarly updates multiplayer mode. Activision is releasing a DLC for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" with the Variety Map Pack.
