Zerotech To Launch In Summer Folding Hesper Advanced Pocket Drone

Apr 26, 2017 01:32 PM EDT

Zerotech said on Monday that it would launch in summer the Hesper Advanced Pocket Drone. The rollout of the folding drone comes after the company slashed the prices of its original small selfie drone. It would also launch the Drone Formation Dance Set.

The set programs multiple drones to fly in formation, Digital Trends reported. The Hesper Advanced Pocket Drone comes with a 4K camera with up to 18 minutes of flight time. Its flight time is longer than the Dobby Drone and features higher-resolution video.

Beyond the camera and flying time, Zerotech did not provide more details about the Hesper Advanced Pocket Drone at the NAB Show in Las Vegas. The show is from April 25 through April 27. The Dobby Drone, meanwhile, has a photo resolution of 4208x3120 and takes photos with a burst mode of two to 15 photos. It also takes 4K videos at 30fps, according to Techaeris.

Besides the upcoming Hesper Advanced Pocket Drone, drone fans would also look forward to the dance set that would come with eight Dobby Drones and a control system to choreograph the flight patterns. It has 10 flight patterns, but more would be available with a download using the mobile app.

While waiting for the summer release of the Hesper Advanced Pocket Drone and the Drone Formation Dance Set, Zerotech made the Dobby Drone more affordable. Its new price is now $349, down by $50 from the original price of $399. It also comes with another battery.

In announcing the summer rollout of the Hesper Advanced Pocket Drone, Echo Lin, communications director of Zerotech, says that drone selfies and easy aerial photography are necessary in the life of every drone owner. “The average consumer wants to record their memories anytime and anywhere, especially during their travels. Hesper is capable of taking quick aerial photos without comprising imaging quality,” Suas News quotes Lin.
