‘Dragon Quest XI’ Update: In Search of Departed Time Introduces New Unique Skills For Each Game’s Characters

This week's hot news for "Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time" reveals a new Skill Panel system. This new system features a new lineup with unique skills for each character of the game. The Skill Panel is a new system by which the characters of Dragon Quest XI can grow.

According to Gaming Bolt, by using Skill Points, by the way, which are acquired through methods such as unlocking panels and leveling up, players can learn new skills with their character. Players can start from the middle of the Skill Panel and use skill points to learn skills while unlocking adjacent panels. There are also Unknown Panels that will be unlocked by opening surrounding panels; the shape of the Skill Panel is different for each character in "Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time."

"Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time" Skill Panels introduces unique skills that can be learned such as Giga Slash for Protagonist, mow down enemies using a lightning blade in a skill exclusive to a hero, as noted by Game Zone. Another one is the Steal for Camus, where players can acquire items from monsters, Magic Awakening intended for Veronica which increases the power of spells. The melody of Fire for Senya which puts on a flame barrier for protection purposes, Flute of Fascination for Silvia that charms monsters with the sound of a flute, Vacuum Kick for Martina that hits the enemy with a powerful kick, and Aesthetic Enlightenment intended for Row that attains enlightenment and increases spell effects for all enemies.

Meanwhile, the date for the confirmed Nintendo Switch version has not been verified yet. Square-Enix assures its development, but a launch window remains unknown until now. The Skill Panel for "Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time was introduced in the latest issue of Weekly Jump, another new system will be introduced in the next issue. "Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time" will launch for PlayStation 4 and 3DS on July 29 in Japan.
