Sony Xperia XZ Premium Update: Sony Announced The Upcoming Flagship Will No Longer Inherit Concept For Android Program

Recently reports stated that the highly anticipated Sony Xperia XZ Premium will miss its Xperia X Concept build a program. Sony will pull the plug on by the end of the month; the company announced that the Sony Xperia XZ Premium will pave the way for the creation of a community similar to the InTouch community.

According to Android Authority, Sony Xperia XZ Premium will take the reins of the Concept builds. The concept for Android is not planned for another device, the company answered to clarify things out for their upcoming device. The company's plans for the Sony Xperia XZ Premium become a bigger mystery for all tech analysts. Despite the Concept Program coming to an end, it seems that Sony Company has something else up in their sleeves.

Avid Sony Xperia users should hear what the company has planned for the upcoming Sony Xperia XZ Premium as it is speculated to be launched this year's June. Announced back in February, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium flagship will hit stores with a 5.46-inch Quad HD display, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with the Adreno 540 graphics processing unit (GPU) to boot, as noted by GSM Arena.

The upcoming Sony Xperia XZ Premium was speculated to be packed with a 4GB of random-access memory (RAM) with 64 expandable storage using microSD card up to 256GB. The device will sport a 19MP primary camera with 25mm focal point, predictive phase detection, LED flash, and laser autofocus; also capable of capturing HDR videos. As for its front camera, it has 13MP with 1080p video capture. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium will carry a 3,230mAh battery with Quick charge 3.0 support along with a fingerprint sensor and can survive underwater for 30 minutes.

To sum it up, Sony has now clarified that there will be no Concept for Android planned for another device. AS plain as the statement, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium will not be inheriting the Concept for Android program after all.
