The Lenovo owned smartphone company, Motorola officially launched the Moto G5 at Mobile World Congress in February this year. However, the phone, which has been in circulation in other parts of the world is yet to hit the Canadian market.

Specs-wise, the Moto G5 sports a 5-inch full HD display and a mid-ranger. The smartphone is said to be equipped with the Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 chipset and comes with a 16 GB of storage memory, expandable to extra 128GB. The Moto G5 features a 13 MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture with face detection autofocus (PDAF) and has a 2GB of RAM. The Moto G5 has a metallic body design, which makes it more superior to its predecessor. It also features a fingerprint scanner found in the front view of the device, runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by a 2,800 mAh battery capacity.
Nevertheless, phone lovers will enjoy a smooth performance and stay entertained on the go with a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor of the Moto G5 smartphone and get shortcuts to the features they use most, like turning on the camera with a twist of their wrist. Although phone lovers may have the Moto G5 available for purchasing, it's unfortunate as there is no information on when the Moto G5 plus will be launching in Canada.
