Latest updates reveal that new leaks on the Xiaomi Mi6 show that the upcoming device will likely be missing audio jack. It is reported that the developer has already revealed some specs and features of the upcoming flagship phone including dual lens rear camera and a curved design.

However, rumors and leaks have also revealed several other features of the device. The device is expected to be released in two variants, which is the 4GB/6Gb of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage variants. It is reported that the smaller variant of the Xiaomi Mi6 will have a 2.5D curved panel and lower price tag compared to the standard version which is expected to feature full curved display.

The Xiaomi Mi6 is also rumored to be shipped with an OIS or optical image stabilization and that the device will support phase detection autofocus or (PDAF). Recent rumors suggest that the new Xiaomi Mi6 will have a bigger home button compared to its predecessor, it would likely be made of ceramics with a premium design and a fingerprint sensor will be incorporated in the front panel of the device.

According to Telecomtalk, the Xiaomi Mi6 is expected to sports four curved sides and also be IP68 certified. The device will also have USB Type-C port, IR blaster at the top, volume rockers, a power button at the right side of the device and antenna bands.

Meanwhile, among the numerous leaks, none has confirmed whether the upcoming Xiaomi Mi6 will feature the headphone jack which invariably suggests that the current leak that Xiaomi is ditching the audio jack could be genuine. If the leaks are to be considered, users of the Xiaomi Mi6 will have to utilize the single USB Type-C port for both charging and audio uses.

According to WCCFTech, the new Xiaomi Mi6 will have a 19-MP rear camera sensor coupled with dual tone LED flash, 6GB/4GB of RAM, a 2.5D, 5.15-inch OLED panel paired with 1920 x 1080 resolution, standard size bezels, Adreno 540 GPU and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. Other rumors suggest 12 megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors at the back and 8-megapixel sensor in the front.

The Xiaomi Mi6 is will reportedly run on Android Nougat 7.1.1 supported by MIUI9 and feature Quick Charge support 4.0. Xiaomi is expected to unveil the device on April 19 in China, but the device will also be available in India.
