Nintendo Switch Update: 2.2.0 version Now Available; 2.4 Million Console Units Sold In March 2017

Nintendo Switch proves that it has become the fastest selling console around the world. With its exciting games and good performance, the company made another update. It is the Nintendo Switch 2.2.0 version.

Nintendo Switch 2.2.0 is a new system update from the company to give a satisfying gaming experience to its players. GameSpot reported that this new update includes the "general system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience." This report came from the posted patch notes on Nintendo's website.

The Nintendo Switch 2.2.0 will automatically download in your Nintendo Switch console online or you can update it manually. After that, the current version of your console should be in 2.2.0.

Although the Nintendo Switch 2.2.0 is now available, Nintendo Switch will have to go over with some issue. According to Express.co.uk, Nintendo Switch will be offline again on Wednesday, April 19, from 6:45 pm (PT) until 8 pm (PT) for system maintenance. Nintendo stated that during this offline, some of the network services will be temporarily unavailable including play, rankings, 3DS and Wii U.

Nintendo Switch becomes the company's fastest selling system. According to BGR, an independent market research firm SuperData released the official sales of Nintendo Switch for the month of March. In its group's estimates, the company was able to ship 2.4 million console units in its debut month.

"Nintendo is performing above expectations, which suggests that, at least for now, it is well on its way to restore investor confidence." SuperData CEO Joost Van Dreunen stated. Those 2.4 million units of Nintendo Switch consoles came from the SuperData's research and channel checks.

Just this year, Nintendo Switch faced a problem regarding the shortage of stocks during its debut month. However, the company has managed to solve the issue, proving its increased sale though we could still expect the same issue this year. Nintendo Switch console is only available in Amazon to order online.
