Xiaomi To Launch Mi Max 2 Next Week; See Specs & Features Here

New reports state that Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is expected to debut next week with exclusive and mind-blowing specs. Rumors with regards to the Mi Max 2 have been circulating online for a couple of months now, and it appears that the highly-anticipated device will be unveiled by the developer next week.

It is been reported that the device will sports 6.44-inch display, 4 GB of RAM, 5000mAh battery and several other amazing features. As fans already know, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is also scheduled to debut on April 19th, which is one week from now.

According to Phone Arena, the Mi Max 2 was initially set for a May launch but it is believed that the launch will now coincide with that of the upcoming device. The flagship device, Xiaomi Mi 6 is now expected to launch at an event in Beijing along with the Mi Max 2.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is expected to be an amazing device that will feature a large display, with a 1080p, 5,000 mAh battery, Snapdragon 626 SoC processor, and long-lasting battery power. The device is also expected to sport a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie camera, 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX378 sensor, and also run on Android 7.1 Nougat.

It is reported that the Mi Max 2 model will likely be launched alongside a standard variant that is expected to feature improved chipset. Although there is no official update with regards to the standard variants of the Mi Max 2 but based on rumors, the device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC, 6GB of RAM.

Both the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and its standard variant is also rumored to have similar configurations, even though the standard variant is expected to sport more exclusive specs and features. According to a report from Gadgets, Xiaomi is also expected to launch the Mi Note 3 very soon.

It is reported that the upcoming device will sport a 5.7-inch display, 8GB RAM, 128GB and 256GB inbuilt storage options, and dual camera setup at the rear. The Mi Note 3 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 SoC and a 4070mAh battery. However, while the Mi Max 2 will retail at $217, CNY 1,499, or roughly 14,000, the standard variants of the device is expected to retail at $246, CNY 1,699 or roughly Rs. 15,900.
