‘Total War: Warhammer 2’ Cinematic Trailer Reveals Features, Gameplay, Plot Details; Expected to Arrive This Year

The Creative Assembly Game Studio has recently released the "Total War: Warhammer 2" cinematic trailer, providing details about its upcoming MMORPG that bear some similarity to "Warcraft" gameplay in terms of difference races option and the main story or multiplayer mode. The successor of "Total War: Warhammer" will introduce players to four different races including High Elves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen, and with the fourth race is still in mystery.

Fans can see form the "Total War: Warhammer 2" cinematic trailer that those four races will be fighting against one another in the deep of a jungle. Although there isn't any information about the fourth race, gamers should notice the stinger just before the end of the trailer, hinting the possible fourth race might be the Skaven, the non-humanoid villains of Vermintide.

The creators behind the title also launch another dev diary video besides the "Total War: Warhammer 2" cinematic trailer entitled 'Vision'. The clip will give more details about the development of the game like players can choose if they want to pursue the storyline or directly enjoy the multiplayer mode.

According to Laptopninja, "Total War: Warhammer 2" cinematic trailer also shares the plot details of the game, telling the story of territorial conquest over the ailing Great Vortex that has swirled for millennia above the Elven homeland of Ulthuan. The main story of this upcoming MMORPG will invite players to save or disrupt the Vortex, with whatever races they will choose later, according to their motivations.

There are certainly a lot of things to expect judging from what gaming enthusiasts see from "Total War: Warhammer 2" cinematic trailer. Creative Assembly and Sega's follow-up hit turn-based strategy MMORPG will be coming on Microsoft Windows, Linux, and MacOS via the Steam platform and will be available later this year, as reported by Telegiz. No official exact date on when the beta version or the full game will be released.
