The starting of 2017 has been all about Chromebooks along with a main focus on Android apps. With the start of the year, the tech geeks eagerly waited for two big releases, one of which was Asus Chromebook Flip C302CA and the other was the Samsung Chromebook Pro. While the latter stole all the limelight, the underdog, Asus wasn't far behind.
ASUS Chromebook Flip C302CA is a light weight laptop weighing 2.64 pounds, making it comfortable to use. Even though it is a laptop, it doesn't give the user the feel of heavy laptop. Even though this is a 2 in 1 laptop, it definitely isn't a replacement to the Android tablet or iPad Air. However, it is close enough to both and people using either of these won't find any difficulty using this device.
The ASUS Chromebook Flip C302CA includes USB Type-C connections, 9TO5Google reported. However, there are no dongles included so users need to use their personal USB device with an adapter. Along with this, the device also includes a microSD card slot to ensure expansion capabilities and for easy file transfer. It supports only one wired connection that is the headphone jack.
The device supports both Bluetooth Connectivity as well as Wireless Connectivity. This device connects to Bluetooth Headphones easily and capable of streaming music effortlessly. As per Digital Trends, the ASUS Chromebook Flip C302CA comes with a full sized keyboard. The keys are properly placed allowing comfortable typing. However, it follows a typical Chromebook layout where it puts the search key in place of the Caps Lock key.
The touchpad is on the small side given to the small size of the ASUS Chromebook Flip C302CA. It is responsive and supports multitouch gestures such as pinch to zoom and scrolling functions. The device comes with a 12.5 inch display screen with full HD resolution. Also, the display quality is different in the device, though it includes an ambient light sensor. The US models come with Intel's Core m3 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage.
