Psyonix Game Developer has tied the game with "The Fate of the Furious" movie, creating "Rocket League the Fate of the Furious" DLC. The content will feature a vehicle of everyone's favorite film franchise to the title next week.
The game developer has collaborated with Universal Pictures and Dodge to carry the "Rocket League the Fate of the Furious" DLC to the title on April 4, 2017. The package is available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC for $1.99.
"Rocket League the Fate of the Furious" DLC will include Dominic Toretto's Ice Charger premium wheels, which can be seen in action in the film's trailer, and six premium decals. The six premium decals will consist of Clean Cut, Crazy Sandwich, Flames, Rakugaki, Rally, and CCCXL.
According to Polygon, it is known that the release date of "Rocket League the Fate of the Furious" DLC is a week ahead of "The Fate of the Furious" film, which will hit the big screen on April 14, 2017. Fans can see at the end of the movie's trailer on how Dom uses the Ice Charger to leap over a submarine.
Fans are over the moon to receive the "Rocket League the Fate of the Furious" DLC. The appearance of the Ice Charger also represents the partnership between Psyonic, Universal Pictures (the film's distributor), and Dodge (the automaker behind the car).
"Rocket League the Fate of the Furious" DLC isn't the first vehicle-based package content that is included in the title. Few months after the game's debut in July 2015, Psyonix released "Back to the Future" DLC Pack, which introduced Doc Brown's time-travelling DeLorean from "Back to the Future" trilogy to the title.
The game studio also added the Batmobile from "Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice." This fact shows that there will be other packages coming in the future besides "Rocket League the Fate of the Furious" DLC, as reported by Twinfinite.
