In 2016, the Nintendo NES Classic Mini became one of the most in-demand gaming consoles ever produced by Nintendo. It has become so successful that the manufacturer is struggling to keep up with demand. Fortunately for fans, these retro gaming consoles are now available on Amazon, Newegg and Chunk Toys.
Amazon website indicates that it will be restocked with a number of Nintendo NES Classic Mini starting April 1, 2017. The online selling giant is offering the retro gaming console for US$ 173 with free shipping.
Newegg also shows that it has the Nintendo NES Classic Mini already in-stock. The online retailer is offering the retro gaming console for US$ 199.99, exclusive of shipping fee. If consumers choose to purchase the gaming device in Newegg, they will receive the NES Classic Edition system, a NES Classic Controller, HDMI cable, AC adapter, and 30 pre-installed games.
Meanwhile, Chunk Toys is offering the Nintendo NES Classic Mini in 2-player bundle for US$ 259.99. Consumers would receive 1 NES Classic Console, 1 NES Classic Controller, 1 NES Third Party Controller, HDMI cable, an AC adapter, and 30 pre-installed and ready-to-play games.
Since its launch last year, Nintendo Co. has been struggling to keep up with the demand for the Nintendo NES Classic Mini. Its unexpected success caught even its developers off guard. That said, Tatsumi Kimishima, the president of Nintendo Co., has offered reassurance to consumers that the company is doing its best to cope up with the still increasing demand for the retro gaming console.
Despite repeated reassurances over the last few months, however, the stock shortage hasn't been resolved. According to Nintendo executives, there are a number of reasons why they are behind schedule in supplying the Nintendo NES Classic Mini. One reason parts of the retro gaming console have been hard to find. But as stated above, they are trying their best to keep up with the demand and increase their production.
That said, if the consumers want to get their hands on the Nintendo NES Classic Mini, they can contact Amazon, Newegg and Chunk Toys to see if they still have stocks. They have to act fast if they hope to purchase the retro gaming console. Also, the consumers can head to Target and Toys R Us and try their luck over there.
