Last Friday, Tesla CEO Elon Musk was on a flight to Cape Canaveral to attend business related to SpaceX; an aerospace company that he also runs. The billionaire entrepreneur shared a number of new ideas and details about the Tesla Model 3 by answering some questions from fans on the social media platform.

According to Fortune, the CEO Elon Musk wants to clarify that Model 3 isn't the next version of Tesla in which he got more specific about the Model 3 in response to several questions from all of their fans. He clarified that Model 3 will have an Autopilot capabilities which have been announced before, adding that Model 3 will be indefinitely awesome.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk also shared that the Model 3 will be similar to a BMW 3 series or like Audi A4; Model S is like BMW 5 and 6 series where it will be much faster, Autopilot setup, and more storage space. The CEO also added that with the Tesla Model 3 will have a fit large cooler in the trunk. Tesla Model 3 won't contain any significant new technology that has yet to be introduced to the S and X however, he stated that there's a lot of new technology in terms of its production process and designs but nothing new that a consumer would notice.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk also discussed the shorter wheelbase of the Model 3 that only allows 75 kilowatt-hour battery packs. Although, this Model 3 must not be underestimated in which it will have a greater range than the Chevy Bolt EV that can travel 238 miles on a single charge. Model 3 will also have a dual motor option which means an all-wheel drive; will be launched next year, as noted by Venture Beat.

Testa CEO Elon Musk explained that the company wanted to minimize the complexity of the initial production, as he answered all questions in a conclusion. The UK fans will have to wait for right-hand drive versions of the Model 3 until summer of 2018.
