LG Mobile's official US website posts that the LG G6 unlocked version is coming soon; by soon means no exact date is given. LG also hasn't revealed the pricing details about this device.
Just for information, the brand new LG G6 is available for pre-order on all major US carriers. There's no precise price for LG G6 unlocked version, however, since carriers offering the phone for between $600 (US Cellular) and over $700 (AT&T and Sprint), consumers predict that the unlocked variant will cost around $649.
It is expected that the LG G6 unlocked version will hit the market next month as the time will coincide with the official selling of this mobile by all carriers. Buyers consider the month of April is the right timeframe for LG to release the unlocked variant.
LG, up until now, still hasn't shared any additional information about the phone's availability so fans will have to wait until the gadget is released. According to PhoneArena, unverified news claims that consumers who buy the LG G6 unlocked version may not qualified to get the free Google Home Speaker included as a package that sold by carriers.
To recap the specs, LG G6 unlocked version might have the same body design as the carrier variant which is made of metal and glass and its bezels are really thin. The device will measure a 5.7-inch display featuring a 1440 x 2880 pixels resolution, fueled by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 64-bit Quad Core Processor paired with 4GB of RAM.
LG G6 unlocked version might also carry a 32/64GB of internal storage that could be expanded with a microSD card slot. AndroidHeadlines reports that the Smartphone will be fueled with a 3,300 mAh battery capacity and certainly runs on Android 7.0 Nougat Operating System out of the box alongside the company's LG UX 6.0 UI on top of it.
It is predicted that LG G6 unlocked version will feature the same dual-camera setup, bringing in a 13MP camera for photos and videos and a 5MP front-facing camera. To add the security level, LG also adds a fingerprint sensor on the rear of the mobile as reported by GeekyGadgets.
