‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 6’ Latest News & Updates: Alternative Games That Can Help Buy Scott Cawthon Some Time

Mar 24, 2017 08:05 AM EDT

There is still no official word on whether there will be a “Five Nights at Freddy’s 6” though Scott Cawthon has been sending out teasers. Many took that previous post which simply read “New Year, New Games” to mean something though it could cover other games under his wing like “Five Nights at Freddy’s World.”

With nothing credible to hold on to as to Cawthon actually working on a “Five Nights at Freddy’s 6,” the best folks can do right now is either make do with “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location” or turn to alternative games instead. There are fan-made games available right now, titles which should keep the flames up.

Harmless games to try out

Among the game alternatives for “Five Nights at Freddy’s 6” hopefuls include “Popgoes”, “Five Nights at Candy’s”, and “Jolly 2.” Most spoof what the original “Five Nights at Freddy’s” game have had to offer, a game of survival against the evil animatronics. These may not be much compared to what Cawthon has delivered though curious enough to fill in for the meantime.

Is there a “Five Nights at Freddy’s 6” coming?

Before raising hope, it would be best to stabilize first if “Five Nights at Freddy’s 6” is indeed in the works. He has sent out those cryptic posts with speculated hidden messages as pointed out by mxdwn.com. Aside from that, no details or bits pertaining to it have come close thus far with Cawthon occupied with the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” movie. The status of the film was divulged at the Steam Community page.

Other than the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” movie, there is also the novel “The Twisted Ones” which got updated over at Amazon. Major details were revealed, including the summary plot. While the novel is something to check out, it will not be surprising if this is linked again either to the movie version or a yet-to-be-confirmed “Five Nights at Freddy’s 6.”
