Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus Latest Leaks: Newest Flagship Retail Box Reveals Package Content; Supporting Verizon Wireless 4G LTE

Mar 23, 2017 09:41 AM EDT

Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus retail box leaks have been a hot topic among tech enthusiasts. The photos show that retail box doesn't look very different from the Galaxy S7/Galaxy S7 Edge retail box, revealing the black cardboard box with the sparkling blue Galaxy S8 Plus model name on it.

The back of Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus retail box provides information that the device is the Verizon Wireless version, meaning the device will support the carrier's 4G LTE Advanced network. Consumers can also see from the retail box the details of the contents, including a Wall/USB charger, Micro USB connector, a USB connector, and the usual documentation about the phone.

Customers will also find inside the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus retail box a pair of stereo headphones. There's an unofficial news that Galaxy S8 pair will come with AKG-branded ear buds (a Harman subsidiary), but no confirmation from Samsung's side, so far, about this matter, as reported by GSMArena.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus retail box will be unpacked on March 29, 2017, in New York City and only then, buyers can get to see the real deal. For now, fans have to feel satisfied with the list of the packaging contents on the rear side of the box.

According to Phonedog, the previous leak before the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus retail box leaked image suggests that the device will have a larger display and have 18:9 aspect ratios. The screen of this phone is said to feature 1440x2960 QHD resolution, measuring a 6.2-inch dual-curved edge Super AMOLED display.

Android reports that the two mobiles, Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus won't be much larger than their predecessors in terms of actual size. Initial numerous renders and live images leaks, which came before the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus retail box image, have shown that both devices will feature very thin bezels on the top and bottom, with no physical buttons on the front.

Samsung has switched the physical home button to on-screen keys. Another change is the fingerprint scanner which has been moved to the rear of the Smartphone, right next to the camera lens.
