Cheaper Than The Apple AirPods, The Beats X is What You Are Looking For

If you are looking for the alternative for the AirPods to suit your music needs for iPhone 7, you need to consider the Beats X as part of your options. Before Apple decided to eliminate the headphone jack for their new iPhone, there are plenty of amazing (and cheap) headphones available other than The Beats by Dre. Since the acquisition of the brand by Apple, The Beats by Dre gained the access to all of their tech and integrate them into the products.

Out from the box, you get the Beats X headphones itself, with 3 extra pairs of tips in different sizes to fit your ears. Also included are the silicon case, and wingtips for extra support, as well as a Beats sticker and a Lightning cable which is the perfect match for the iPhone 7.

Similar to the AirPods, the Beats X is a Bluetooth-enable wireless headset. Unlike the AirPods, the Beats X earphones are joined by a single cable that you can sling across the back of your neck. This alone beats (pun intended) the AirPods which carry the risk of losing one side of the earphones easily.

Pairing the Beats X with your iPhone 7 is also easy as the AirPods since it has the W1 wireless chip similar to AirPods built into it. The iPhone will automatically detect the Beats X in no time.

Although it does look like one of those sports Bluetooth headsets that are waterproof, the Beats X actually has no indication whatsoever that it carries the same feature. You should have no problem when using the Beats X while doing a gym session, but it is wise to keep it away from the rain.

The Beats X is advertised to last up to 8 hours of continuous music playback. Also, since this is an in-ear design, you will get far better noise isolation than the AirPods.

Being a mainstream brand, and bearing that Beats logo, many in the "audiophile" circles will have definitely dismissed it as a consideration. But for the rest of us mere mortals, the Beats X are actually pretty decent.
