Story maker Akira Toriyama has tried to make Android 17 and 18 to be notorious villains on the past "Dragon Ball" sagas but fans can see a brighter future for the two villains. The android siblings were dispatched when the master villain Cell was defeated and they have moved on since it happened.
The two powerful android siblings have gotten jobs, married, and had kids but the nature of a fighter has never forgotten them. In just a few weeks "Dragon Ball" fans will meet Android 17 again to return to a new anime storyline. According to Comic Book, the iconic android will have to take a break from his normal employee life as a park ranger to help and save his universe. Android 17 is going to team up with his sister Android 18 to defend Universe 7 against the Omni-Kings.
"Dragon Ball Super" Universe Survival is now focusing on the Tournament of Power where losers will be damned and their universe will be destroyed. Well, Android 17 isn't going to let that happen which fans can now expect that the past villain will be making his comeback to defend his universe.
Recently, a magazine Shonen Jump published a teaser page dedicated to Android 17's comeback; as followed by Crunchy Roll. The advertisement give fans a big hint in an image of the character illustrating that he will appear in "Dragon Ball Super" which confirms that Android 17 will return in episode 86; making confirmations that he will make his appearance on April 16, 2017.

Meanwhile, before the comeback of Android 17 fans will able to follow Goku's journey to recruit other past allied heroes including Dende in "Dragon Ball Super." Goku recently visited the god Dende in order to locate Android 17. The Kaoshin of all universes participated in the Tournament of Power which they are now gathered in Universe 11.
"Dragon Ball Super" Universal Saga airs on Toonami with an English dub on Adult Swim every Saturdays at exactly 11:30 PM. It will also be aired earlier on Crunchyroll every Saturdays at exactly 7:15 PM.
