OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T's OxygenOS 4.1.0 upgrade has been anticipated by the device's owners. These two phones are considered to have desirable technical specifications and are very popular among enthusiasts.
OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T's OxygenOS 4.1.0 upgrade will also bring in the Android 7.1.1 Nougat system. The new update version will include several new Operating System components, including the latest Android security patches available since March. As stated by Google, the March Android security patch fixed 22 high severity issues and 11 critical problems.
Another thing that will be included in OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T's OxygenOS 4.1.0 upgrade besides the security patches is the enhancements for blur-reduction in photos of moving objects. The new version will also have video stability when recording video clips.
In additions, OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T's OxygenOS 4.1.0 upgrade will support the expanded screenshots and have improvement on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. It is also expected that the newest update will bring general bug fixes.
Android Community reports that in term of app's enhancement, OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T's OxygenOS 4.1.0 upgrade will carry the App Shortcuts feature that can bring up a context menu of actions by only tapping and holding on an icon on the home screen. There's also a lot more female emojis to bring gender equality even to the text messaging.
Even before the rolling out of OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T's OxygenOS 4.1.0 upgrade, the devices have already considered as a high-end Smartphone. With its top technical specifications, OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T feature a dual SIM cards, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 processor with eight cores and 3400 mAh battery life capacity. The phones are packed with a 6GB RAM capacity, measuring a 5.5-inch AMOLED display screen with a FULL HD resolution. The main cameras of these premium mobiles are also not bad, featuring a 16MP sensor, as reported by TNHOnline.
According to NDTV, OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T's OxygenOS 4.1.0 upgrade will arrive via OTA (Out-The-Air) release, meaning the update will be rolling out gradually. Owners can manually check for the new version by heading to Settings > About Phone > System Update.
