Sony Xperia XZ offers a major discount in terms of the device's price in India. The device now offers a discount that starts at $183; a much lower price than the upcoming Sony Xperia XZ Premium.
Sony Xperia XZ was originally wearing a price tag that starts at $795 and with the said price cut, it will be available at $610 which was noted that it will only be available no other than India. It indicates that the Sony Xperia XZ handset will be offered at a discounted price in its Forest Blue color variant. However, there is still no official statement that points out if the discounted device will also be available in other countries especially in the United States and Europe countries.
Sony released the Xperia XZ last year's September that carries a price at $700 which is a bit too expensive smartphone that didn't support a QHD display. According to Go Android, Sony Xperia is lacking with a fingerprint sensor with weak front speakers. Despite these issues, Sony's Xperia XZ still considers as one of the top smartphones in the company.
Meanwhile, Sony Xperia XZ Premium is about to launch in the next few months as speculated by some retailers in the United Kingdom which have already got reservations for their fans to be pre-ordered that highly-anticipated Sony device. This is the main reason behind the big price cut that was recently conducted in India.
As noted by Android Authority, Sony Xperia XZ features a 5.2-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display along with its 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and runs on an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset and Adreno 530 GPU which was equipped with 3GB of RAM along with its 32GB/64GB internal storage expandable up to 256GB using MicroSD card. Sony Xperia XZ was made with a 23MP primary camera and 13MP front camera for quality selfie images. It carries 2,900mAh non-removable battery with a quick charge 3.0 capability.
