Smartphone nowadays is not all about Samsung's and iPhone's. Several android phone users need not shed a huge amount of money to have an ultimate smartphone experience. Xiaomi's Mi Mix and OnePlus are some of the contenders for the next android flagship device to watch out for. Let us found out what are their latest features and what key success factors each have to make it stand out from the rest.
According to the comparative review made by the NDTV Gadgets, both the OnePlus 3T and the Xiaomi Mi 5 pushed their limit as far as smartphone features and capacity are concerned. Both devices are sported with the more improved Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. Mi Mix has 4GB RAM, while One Plus 3T has 6GB RAM. Nonetheless, Xiaomi's phone beats the OnePlus 3 Turbo device with the former's 128 GB internal memory against the latter's 64GB.
However, both smartphones do not have expandable storage. In addition to this, the report shows that the flagship killer phones have despicable features and sensors such as compass/magnetometer, proximity sensors, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, barometer and temperature sensors.
Reports made by the PC Advisor indicates that the Xiaomi's Mi Mix device use the so-called 'cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic technology' to transmit sound. The said acoustic technology is an innovative attempt by the smartphone contenders to step up, but reports indicate that the Mi Mix' audio is fairly as clear as any other phone tested.
On the other hand, the OnePlus 3T is tagged as a flagship killer especially on its special edition handset that will feature its 128GB internal storage and carry its OnePlus' "a day's power in half an hour" slogan from its fast-charging 3,400mAh battery, as reported by The Verge.
Both of these hand-held devices have a lot to offer for android enthusiasts. However, as per various reviews and reports, it seems that OnePlus 3T is the one to beat with its impressive designs, stellar hardware and build quality.
