‘Battlefield 1’ News & Update: First Paid DLC ‘They Shall Not Pass’ Launch Date Confirmed; Exact Release Time & Contents Revealed

DICE has confirmed recently that they will push the "Battlefield 1" They Shall Not Pass DLC for Premium Pass players tomorrow, around midnight in Pacific Time. During that time, the BF1 multiplayer server will be offline for about an hour or two, providing everything runs smoothly.

DICE stated that the "Battlefield 1" They Shall Not Pass DLC content will give Premium Pass players their 2-week Early Access, however, this download is required for all players. This could mean that Standard players still need to buy this DLC to play the game, allowing them to enjoy the new content on March 28, 2017.

The "Battlefield 1" They Shall Not Pass DLC update will be automatically deployed across all platforms. The exact downtime for the PC version is starting 08.00 UTC/ 1.00 a.m. PST/ 8 a.m. BST, making the live channel inaccessible for 2 hours.

They multiplayer server for PS4 will be offline for 2 hours starting 10.00 UTC/ 3.00 a.m. PST/ 10 a.m. BST as DICE pushes the "Battlefield 1" They Shall Not Pass DLC update onto the game. For the Xbox One platform, gamers can expect that the live channel will be down for 2 hours starting 12.00 UTC/ 5.00 a.m. PST/ 12 p.m. BST.

PVPLive gives the same report that the "Battlefield 1" They Shall Not Pass DLC content will include new four maps which are Verdun Heights, Fort Vaux, Soissons, and Rupture. In addition, the update will also bring the French Army.

Apart from the maps and the French army, "Battlefield 1" They Shall Not Pass DLC will also contain a new Elite Class (The Trench Raider), New Game mode (Frontlines), new weapons (Ribeyrolles 1918 (Assault), RSC M1917 (Medic), Lebel Model 1886 (Scout), Chauchat (Support), Sjögren Inertial (Assault)), stationary artillery, and a new Tank (St. Chamond). According to PSU, this DLC is available to Season Pass holders, but also obtainable to be purchased separately from the PlayStation Store.

The "Battlefield 1" They Shall Not Pass DLC will be followed by another three DLC, which have been entitled In the Name of the Tsar, Turning Tides, and Apocalypse. There is no specific time given on when these DLC will be launched, as reported by Express.
