iOS 11 Latest News & Update: Creative Concept Video Suggests Key Features Next Mobile OS Should Carry

Mar 10, 2017 02:19 AM EST

With most Apple mobile device owners trying to keep their heads afloat with the buggy iOS 10, most are hoping to see major improvements in iOS 11. There is no official word on when the next mobile operating system will come out though most are under the impression that it will go down at the Apple Worldwide Developer Conference happening from June 5 to 9 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California.

No-brainer benefits of iOS 11 include the traditional bug and security fixes, meaning it would be best to see what new features the next major mobile operating system will carry. That has been scarce at the moment though the Cupertino company may want to take a gander at some concepts suggested by some creative minds.

An interesting iOS 11 concept video comes from Jacek Zieba. His video shows credible improvements Apple could factor in with the next iOS release. That includes new features like dark mode, FaceTime calling or even split-screen apps, Cult of Mac reported. Much of these suggestions may ring a bell considering they headline the wish list of potential features for Apple device owners.

Dark or Night mode may not create a major impact but is nevertheless a lush feature for iOS 11. With the rise in video conference calling nowadays, seeing FaceTime get a major boost such as split-view or even a floating picture-in-picture window could make things easier with three video feeds on iPhones or iPads. It somehow mimics the one Android devices use, a perfect feature for the upcoming 5.8-inch iPhone 8, 9 to 5 Mac suggested.

Aside from the potential three major features for iOS 11, other improvements could include improved 3D Touch interface, game mode alert, better storage management and possibly a revamped Siri voice assistant. A lot of this should be known by June at WWDC 2017. For now, watch the concept video below by Jacek Zieba.
