The launch date of the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy is getting nearer and fans are getting more information about the new smartphone. Details about specs, display, and more about Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus are revealed.
Phone Arena has reported that the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus would ditch the unnecessary dual-curved edge screen of its predecessor. They did this for a larger screen of their flagship phone.
The publication also reported that Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus would have the same specs with the Samsung Galaxy S8 but with a bigger screen. Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus would have a 6.2-inch display. Not only that, Phone Arena said that the phone would be sported with Quad HD and Super AMOLED Display. With that, the larger screen would require a larger battery.
GSM Arena pointed out that Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus would also equip its promised iris scanner that could be used for security purposes. Notably absent is the fingerprint scanner that was always said in previous rumors.
If based on the tweet leaked by Venture Beat Reporter Evan Blass, other Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus features would include 4G LTE, 12MP Dual Pixel Main Camera, 8MP Front Facing Camera, IP68 Dust and Water-Resistant, Samsung Knox, external 64GB memory SD card, 4GB RAM, Samsung Pay, Wireless Charging, Android Operating System, and Earphones powered by AKG. The external SD card and charging pad required for wireless changing are sold separately.
So far, these are the rumors that have been circulating about the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus phone. Samsung is expected to unveil other information on the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
Asides from the features, rumors are also circulating about its launch date since Samsung is still not releasing an official launch date on their flagship phones. Some sources are saying that Samsung Galaxy S* and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus would be officially introduced on March 29 while some said that it would launched on the Sunday night of the Mobile World Congress.
