There is no denial anymore that wireless earbuds are the future of earphones. Even though it is not yet prominent, there is already a competition between two companies specializing in bringing quality music through earphones.
Apple's wireless earbuds or more known as Apple AirPods face a tough competition after the Beats X earphones, a product of Beats by Dr. Dre, were released last week. Both could really give quality service to music lovers.
So what earbuds are better? Beats X and AirPods are now going to be weigh in with their benefits in different offers.
BGR reported that Beats X uses the same W1 wireless chip technology Apple also used for their AirPods. With this, pairing smartphones or any other device could be easily paired fast and easy.
Beats X could be connected to each other using wire but one could access Bluetooth technology to connect to smartphones and any devices playing music. For someone to control the music, they must have a microphone if they will prefer to use Beats X.
On the other hand, Apple AirPods features connectivity feature limited only iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Users of those smartphones could see the remaining battery life for their device.
When it comes to the quality of sounds, experts said that AirPods really fit on the ears and produces excellent quality sound quality. On the other hand, Beats X was also praised for its good performance but various reports say the music and sound appear accurate and clean but songs with loud sounds and cymbals to affect one's hearing ability.
CNET also noted that the Apple AirPods are more close to the essence of wireless earphones than Beats X. They said that Beats X uses dangling cables connecting to both left and right earpiece, in which Apple AirPods does not have.
Apple's wireless earbuds would face competition with BeastX earphones, especially that the latter is more accessible than former. In short, Beats X is more affordable than Apple.
In another BGR review, one could purchase Beats X already at $150 price tag. Users also have the capability to choose the color or their earphones with choices like blue, black, white, and gray.
On the other hand, Apple AirPods could be purchased with $159, nine dollars higher than Beats X. The charger for these earbuds could be used for five hours and yet, it could be charged with only five minutes.
