Yandex NV (YNDX) is Russia’s largest search-engine company. The company announced last month it will sell Android phones with its services pre-installed. These efforts were announced to compete with Google Inc. (GOOG) in mobile devices. According to Bloomberg, Yandex’s browser, maps, search, cloud storage and store with 100,000 applications will be the default options on two phones, made by Huawei Technologies Co. and ZAO Explay, that will go on sale in Russia in March. The company is seeking to gain market share in Russia with Android smartphones.

Yandex also has over 90 percent market share on smartphones running Microsoft Corp.’s (MSFT) Windows Phone system in Russia, he said. Monitoring, tracking behaviour patterns will be challenges for any big data company in the future. The "big data" problems will force organizations such as Yandex to adapt.

Google's entrance into the technology markets with mobility has been on solid growth against its competitors Facebook, Yahoo!, Microsoft and Apple. The Google Android OS currently drives more than three quarters of smartphone devices which were sold last quarter. Google's fourth quarter revenues saw 17% earnings growth with the company reporting adjusted earnings of $12.01 per share.
