Android and IT Developer talent are in demand, however there is a current shortage of finding talented developers. Corporations are seeking out digital talent more than ever. Attracting developer talent is important for companies.

The Guardian also shared valuable insight for major companies crying out for digital talent:

• Uncover your best tech ambassadors, understand their route into the business, and whether there was anything unconventional or different in their story which could help them be seen as a broader role model for the industry

• Find out which universities offer computer sciences and seek out the opportunity to become involved in projects, such as sponsoring competitions, connecting with lecturers, inputting suggestions for their course materials and identifying meaningful partnerships. In publicising these activities, focus on their outcome, rather than the initial arrangement

• Join forces with other organisations who are also in need of digital talent

The mobile device market is the fastest growing market sector today being let by smartphone users worldwide. Wireless Intelligence had stated in its report "1.5 billion subscribers will be added to 3G networks in the next two years." The smartphone market is expected to grow to 18.3% compounded annually through 2016. It is estimated that 1 in 7 of the world's population owned a smartphone in the third quarter of 2012. Global growth has yet to penetrate in the market. It is forecasted the next billion growth of smartphones to be achieved in less than three years, by 2015.

" Worldwide smartphone sales rose 43% last year, down from 58% in 2011 and 72% in 2010, the year that they really took off, following increases of just 24% in 2009 and 14% in 2008 " via Gartner.

We are beginning to accept BYOD in management and within the company now as an enabler. Tablets are beginning to catch on and there is definitely the increase in productivity levels and more potential in BYOD. BYOD definitely delivers efficiency. Management that can put trust in telecommuting will make the best culture. Soft skills, Embracing change benefits companies. Looking into creating an ideal work environment that cultivates such skills would be beneficial.
