LG recently introduced "LG GATE," a Secure, Enterprise-Ready Mobile Platform designed for today’s BYOD Business. Platform diversity is an emerging trend among secure enterprise mobile platforms. The technology package offers Android users access to enhance security for mobile enterprise solutions. Users or employees can use the platform to obtain work resources while on-the-go. The LG GATE platform is set to launch first in the U.S.

Android users can keep data and information separate from the two. Features include private encryption, ActiveSync, VPN, Microsoft Exchange and Mobile Device Management.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) in the workplace should consist of an organization that is embracing BYOD with innovative capabilities in place. Culture that cultivates ideas, investing time, the right resources and funds to support the BYOD process. The right program implemented has to be taken in consideration of the Android users. If there are telecommute users working remotely, BYOD should offer cost reduction for the organization and ease complexities.

Gartner predicts that 35 percent of all tablets purchased in 2015 will be bought by businesses. Some companies still are hesitant when it comes to BYOD security issues. Android Mobility Adoption

Mobility adoption has been increasing at a staggering speed. According to The Good Mobility Index report, the number of devices activated for the second and third quarters this year has found total device activations for the quarter rose nearly 60 percent from the same time last year. Android saw an increase of 30 percent and 27 percent of total activations respectively, in Q2 and Q3. Android enterprise application development is also growing rapidly.
