The Nexus 5 was briefly sighted on the Google Play Store earlier today. It appears a Google employee accidentally updated the page a bit too early and the Nexus 4 was replaced with the Nexus 5. The Nexus 5 was the black 16GB model priced at $350 with the 32GB model priced at $399.
Users are understandably excited about the upcoming device and now a new leak shows the retail packaging of the Nexus 5. The Nexus 5 leak comes from South Korea and shows that the Nexus 5 may have a white model in addition to the standard black model. Right now it’s not clear if the white Nexus 5 will also be coming to US and European markets or if it will only be available at Asian markets.
Phandroid points out that Asian markets tend to have more variety for their devices when it comes to color. At this point Nexus 5 acessories and cases are already availibile on Amazon so most users anticipate that it shouldn’t be long before Google formally announced the long awaited stock Android flagship. The Nexus 5 is expected to come out alongside Android 4.4 KitKat and possibly the Nexus 10 2nd generation refresh and the Google Nexus Gem smartwatch.
