The Sony Honami i1 Mini is the smaller variant of the larger Sony Honami flagship. A new rumor suggests that the Sony Honami i1 Mini will be one of the top slim smartphones compared to the HTC One Mini and Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, both diminished versions of the flagship with reduced specs.
The Sony Honami i1 Mini specs are, “the Honami Mini will keep the Snapdragon 800 processor said to be featured inside the i1, plus 2GB of RAM, but the screen size will drop to 4.3-inches with a 720p resolution. The Sony i1 may have a 5-inch plus screen with a 1080p resolution. Even more surprising is the Honami Mini could also retain the rumored 20-megapixel camera, which is expected to be the i1’s standout feature.”
Of course if the Sony Honami i1 Mini specs are accurate, then we can expect the Mini price to be largely similar to the standard full-size Sony Honami i1 Mini. According to expertreviews there is still plenty we don’t know about the device, “It's unclear whether the handset will include IPX57 dust and water resistance like the Xperia Z, or IPX58 waterproofing like the Xperia Z Ultra, but it looks likely to continue Sony's "One Sony" design strategy and use lots of sharp lines and minimal curves.”
We will likely get an idea of what to expect from the Sony Honami i1 Mini in the coming months. The price may end up being the determining factor.
