iMac 2017 Will Cost Double; Would Equp 8K Retina Display, Cannonlake Processor

Apple desktop computer iMac 2017 was reported to have great designs and hardware that was considered as an improvement over its previous version. But with this, customers might prepare their pockets in order to order this.

The enhancement of the iMac 2017 would include 8K retina display and the latest chip from Intel. With these improvements, the price is expected to be doubled.

Financial Review said in their article that the iMac 2017 might have high cost but not only because of the Intel chip and 8K retina display. The fact that the current 5K Apple monitor is already expensive is the another factor.

Not only that, the iMac 2017 will have the possibility to have the Intel CannonLake as its processor. Apple Insider has reported that the Intel CannonLake is produced using a 10-nanometer that would attract more people because of its ability to reduce the power consumption.

The Cupertino-based company might not mind placing some extra price with the iMac 2017 as they have already done this decision with the MacBook Pro. The MacBook Pro already costs up to $400 dollars.

Despite having other choices, Apple will still have Intel to supply them processors for their products like the iMac 2017 and to other products that would be released in the future. Even though people know in the tech industry the partnership of Apple and Intel, there were some speculations that Apple will try other options like the AMD or ARM.

How could they say that the partnership between Apple and Intel would last? Intel said that they have already prepared offers to Apple that would make their partnership stronger.

The iMac 2017 GPU was reported to also contain AMD Polaris-based graphics card. The OLED Touch Bar was also reported to be an additional feature to the device. It is also reported that the desktop will sport a 5K screen while the 8K Retina display will be an add-on.

The iMac 2017 is scheduled to be released this year. Stay tuned for more info.
