Google Pixel XL 2: Specs And Features Known and Leaked So Far

Google, the Pixel smartphone maker could be preparing for the launch of a new smartphone. Roland Quandt, a renowned and reliable tipster first spotted the Google Pixel XL 2 on GFXBench database. The appearance on the database reveals many specifications that could feature in the device.

According to the GFXBench listing, the Google Pixel XL 2 smartphone could arrive with a 5.6-inch display with a resolution of 2,560 pixels by 1,312 pixels. The device is listed to be powered by one of the most powerful processors by Qualcomm-Snapdragon 835. This incredible processor is currently available in the Samsung's best smartphones-Galaxy S8 and S8+.

The Google Pixel XL 2 listing also reveals that the processor could be paired with Qualcomm Adreno 540 GPU and 4GB of RAM. Although the listing reveals that it will arrive with 100GB storage, it is believed that it is probably the 128GB on-board storage instead.

The Google Pixel XL 2 will pack a 12 MP rear camera with support of 4K recording. The features that the camera will include are auto focus, face detection, flash, HDR photo, and touch focus. The listing also hints that the device could arrive with 7 MP selfie shooter with a support of 4K video. The device is seen running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.

According to Go Android, the Google Pixel XL 2 smartphone could arrive with Android 8.0 operating system instead and might hit the tech market in the fourth quarter of this year. Other features revealed on the database are accelerometer, barometer, Bluetooth, compass, GPS, gyroscope, lightsensor, NFC, pedometer, proximity, thermometer and Wi-Fi.

The Google Pixel XL 2 is expected to arrive with better specifications and features than the first smartphone made by the search engine tech giant. The Google Pixel XL smartphone sports a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels at a PPI of 534 pixels per inch.

The Google Pixel XL is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/128GB of internal storage.  It packs a 12.3-megapixel primary camera on the rear, an 8-megapixel front camera and a 3450mAh non-removable battery.

Google has not confirmed any details on the upcoming Google Pixel smartphones. The device could be in the testing stage as it has appeared on the GFXBench. Therefore, readers are requested to take all the details with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates.
