Lenovo TB-8704V Tablet Running On Android 7.1.1 Certified By Wi-Fi Alliance

Lenovo's new tablet has received a clearance from the Wi-Fi Alliance certification. The tablet carrying a model number TB-8704V has been certified. The amazing thing revealed from the Wi-Fi Alliance report is that the device is running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.

According to The Android Soul, the Lenovo tablet having the model number TB-8704V has attained the certification on May 11, 2017. The report clearly specifies the product type as the portable tablet computer and category of the device is mentioned to be a Wi-Fi type or other type, which is unknown.

The certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance hints that the tablet might hit the tech market soon. It is also reported that Lenovo tablet carrying similar model number B-8704 and running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat was spotted on the GFXBench in March. The device appeared with all the detailed specifications and features. It is assumed that it could be the variant of Lenovo Tab4 8 Plus tablet.

According to the GFXBench listing, the Lenovo tablet with model number B-8704 is seen sporting an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1,200 pixels by 1,920 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm (Cortex A53 - ARMv8) octa-core processor clocked 2.0GHz paired with Qualcomm Adreno 506 GPU. The processor is also coupled with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The Lenovo tablet is listed to be sporting an 8MP rear camera with autofocus, touch focus, face detection and flash features. The front face of the device is featured with 5MP selfie camera. Other features included in the device are an accelerometer, barometer, Bluetooth, GPS, gyroscope, light sensor, pedometer, proximity, SIM slot, and Wi-Fi.
