Samsung's recently launched Chromebook Pro runs on Google's Linux-based Chrome OS and the Asus Chromebook Flip C302CA is a clear rival and it is claimed of being one of the finest additions to the Chromebook models this year. These two Chromebooks from different companies goes head-to-head to show the superiority over each other.

Design: According to the Digital Trends, the Samsung Chromebook Pro measures 11.04 x 8.72 x 0.55 inches in size and weighs 2.38 pounds. The device features a 12.3-inch LED-backlit display with IPS technology having a resolution of 2,400 pixels by 1,600 pixels with 235 ppi. In addition, the device is also included with amazing full-size keyboard

According to Asus, the Chromebook Flip C302CA model is smaller and thinner when compared to the Samsung Chromebook Pro. The device measures 11.97 x 8.3 x 0.54 inches in size and weighs 2.65 pounds inclusive of a battery. It also features a bigger 12.5-inch LED-backlit Full HD display having a resolution of 1,920 pixels by 1,080 pixels with 176 ppi. This device also includes a full size illuminated chiclet keyboard for better usability.

Hardware: The Samsung Chromebook Pro and Asus Chromebook Flip C302CA are both powered by the Intel Core m3 processor with 4M Cache and is clocked up to 2.2 GHz. The processor is coupled with  4 GB of RAM on both devices. The Samsung Chromebook Pro holds a 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and ASUS Chromebook Flip has DDR3 RAM. In addition, both the machines run on an Intel HD Graphics 515 GPU.

Other features and Price: The Samsung Chromebook Pro features two USB Type-C/Thunderbolt ports, a microSD card slot, headphone jack, a stylus, a 32GB storage, 39-watt-hour battery, and a 720p web camera. The Chromebook Pro has a price tag of $550.

On the other hand, the Asus Chromebook Flip C302CA features two USB Type C 3.1 ports, a microSD slot, a headphone jack, 64GB Storage, 39-watt-hour battery, and an HD web camera. This device holds a price tag of $500.
